I would like to talk to you today about
trusting God to meet your needs. I am
sure that every believer has at one time,
or another claimed the promise in
Philippians 4:19 that tells us “My God
shall supply all your needs according to
His riches in glory.” He does fill your
needs and gloriously so, even though you
may feel alone, but God has not rejected
you.
Do not let your moments today be filled
with depression or anxiety. You can claim
with full confidence His promise. As
God’s child, everything he has and is
belongs to you. Peace, joy, and love are
your inheritance. If you are anxious about
what today holds, remember, He has
already seen the end of what lies ahead.
“Cast all your cares upon Him, for he
cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7), and “Be
anxious for nothing but in all things give
thanks that your request may be made
known unto God and the peace of God
which passes all understanding shall keep
your heart… through Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4:6-7).
The words of an old hymn that we do not
sing often enough tells us:
“My father is rich in houses and land.
He holds all the wealth of the world
in His hand.
Of rubies and diamonds,
of silver and gold
His coffers are full,
He Has riches untold.
Father, make me willing to confess my
needs and willing to receive what you
have for me today.
Amen.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
