The week is unique
All other periods are natural occurrence
The earth orbits the sun in one annum
A day is one rotation about earth’s axis
Hours minutes and seconds are subdivisions
A month relates to the moon and equinox
Some may have counted 7 celestial bodies
But we know the real reason
Not tied to nature
Creation is the measure!
From beginning to end
God created all of creation
He worked for six days and then He rested
That’s how the week began
He created the week by practice so to speak
Passed down to us
We observe a day of rest
Because God knows best
Yes through seven days
God’s creative cycle is honored
Every day of The Week
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Genesis 1:14 KJV
