Abraham and Sarah awaited the promise
But they laughed at the premise
And Ishmael began
But God was faithful
Hagar and Ishmael were sent away
For they could not stay
Abraham & Laughter were sent on a trip too
But theirs was a test of trust to obey
Peter- Do you love Me more than these?
Sacrifice Isaac, the one that you love
In a place that I please
Father of many nations, but how?
I BELIEVE!
I will do as You say
In a test of trust to obey
Isaac saw the wood and the fire
But where is the sacrifice? Isaac would say
Only trust and obey
They were found faithful
No one would die that day
And the ram was provided to him
Because he was willing to give
His child of promise away
In a test of trust to obey
God the Father followed the same plan
But THIS time, there would be no ram
The knife would not be stayed
God’s beloved Son would give His life away
A perfect lamb, a spotless life
That was the only way
And justice was served
Mercy observed
Grace established
Payment for sin remitted
Remission the mission
Sin’s debt was paid!
But a gift or a pardon must be accepted
In the image of God, you mustn’t reject Him
Admit that you’ve sinned and intend no more
Believe in what He’s done
Confess that Jesus is Christ YOUR Lord
Then righteousness will be imputed to you
Nothing earned, nothing deserved!
Payment has been served!
Paid in full!
Ledger wiped clean!
Propitiation atoned!
Sanctified and redeemed!
Salvation decided!
By His mercy and grace
God has provided!
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8 KJV
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 KJV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:9-11 KJV
