Look around you
Power outlets surround
A bank of electricity
Of untapped energy
Waiting to dispense
Our appliances are lifeless
Unless plugged in
Even EV’s are tethered to the grid
Lights and heat
Tools and cooling
Water pumps and such
All thrive when connected
To the energy source
In the same way
He is the Vine
We are the branches
Apart from Him
We quickly fade
He is the source
We can do nothing
Unless we remain
Plugged In
