Jesus Christ is definitely pro-life
He loves every life individually
Let the children come to Him
Every life lost comes at a dreadful cost

But beyond that
Back in the garden
He is The Life who
Breathed the breath of life
He is the very Author of Life
He is our Creator Maker

He took on flesh
Lived His earthly life with relish
Eating and drinking yet without sin
Targeted, misunderstood and accused
Associated with the seedy sort
He came to seek and to save the lost
Yes, the Physician accepted the sick
The Shepherd sought His sheep
The Father watched for His son
The Daughter searched for Her coin
Certainly, none is too lost to be sought

He eventually laid down His life
Not My will but Thine be done
He bought the field with buried treasure
He traded for the priceless pearl
Sold everything He had
In exchange for us

He is The Resurrection and The Life
He was victorious over sin
He took up His life again
The grave could not keep Him down
He took the stinger out of death
He bound the strongman
And plundered his house

Just like Him, we can live again
We can be His treasure
Valued beyond measure
We can be His pearl
Â
He came to seek and to save
Believe that He is God’s Son
Repent of what you’ve done
Confess that He is Christ
Live the rest of your life for Him
To eternity and beyond
