Can you imagine how Paul felt
As he penned those words?
An agent of the Holy God
Inspired from above
Looking back at what he wrote
Do you think that he really knew
That he had penned God’s very thought?
It is indeed an interesting thought
Written to Timothy
Preserved for eternity
For the benefit of you and me
How can it be?
To enhance his humbleness
God’s grace is sufficient for us
His power is perfected by our weakness
I have a feeling
That when he was done
He said, “I am an unworthy servant;
My duty have I done.”
Yes, Paul wrote
What God Breathed
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17 NIV
In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we’ve only done our duty.’” Luke 17:10 CSB
Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me so that I would not exalt myself. Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times that it would leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” 2 Cor 12:7b-9 CSB
