First Stone Never Thrown

They brought the woman

Caught in the act

But where was the man?

It was their plan

A test of the Master

Would He oppose scripture?

He stooped to the ground

And ignored their sound

Writing in the dust

But they did persist

So Jesus rose from the ground

He looked around

The one WITHOUT SIN may begin

Then He stooped again

He saw their sin!

One by one her accusers left

Righteousness bereft

Til there was only One left

God’s only Son

Neither do I condemn

Go and sin no more

It’s ironic

He was the only one without sin

And His was the First Stone Never Thrown

The hair of his head was white as wool—white as snow—and his eyes like a fiery flame. Revelation 1:14 CSB
