We celebrate Jesus’ birth at Christmas
But this is not when Jesus began
His origin is from antiquity past
He clearly stated
A fitting depiction of
Past, present and future
From eternity past to eternity to be
Not bound by time
He has always been
And forever will be
Even the Jews understood His assertion
But this was not to be
Because He was destined for the tree
He was in the Garden of Eden in Genesis
That made us in His image
Now and forever throughout the Testaments
Seated in power to the right of the Father
From beginning to end
We find His Person present
So don’t be confused
Christmas is when He took on flesh
But His origin is from
Antiquity Past
